Walnut
The fruit of the walnut tree, walnuts are round, single-seeded stone fruits with a brown, wrinkly shell that encloses a kernel or meat. The shell usually has two segments, but can also have three or four. The kernel is often sold shelled and has a brown seed coat that contains antioxidants.
